The management of Bradford-based shoe manufacturer Stylo Barratt Shoes’ national distribution operations is being handled by Wincanton as part of a £9M, three-year contract. As part of the deal, which sees 25 employee transfers to third-party logistics provider under the Transfer of Undertakings Regulations (TUPE), Wincanton is carrying out deliveries to high street retailers Shelly’s, Barratts and PriceLess.
Commenting on the contract, Stylo chief operating officer John Weaving says: “The decision was made to appoint Wincanton as our distribution solutions specialists as we feel they have the expertise and proven track record of national distribution to support Stylo’s objectives.”
