Finmatica SCM has launched the third version of FINeCHAIN, the extended supply chain management suite that addresses supply chain planning, supplier relationship management and customer order management. Release 3.0 incorporates performance and functional enhancements to the core Collaborative Supply Chain Planning (CSCP) suite, and introduces three industry specific vertical solutions – pharmaceutical and speciality chemical, automotive service parts and aerospace and defence. Enhancements to the demand planning and forecasting areas include Web-based supply chain collaboration, shelf life and daily forecasting, and Vendor Managed Inventory improvements.
T@lecom, which develops cost-effective wireless solutions for the transport and logistics industry, now has an optional live tracking facility for its Wireless Delivered product range. The facility is available on both variants of Wireless Delivered – Express for same-day and Runsheet for overnight deliveries. The optional tracking facility uses information from the Wireless Delivered product, offering a live satellite tracking tool. Wireless Delivered is a real-time job control and signature capture system enabling transfer of data and delivery information between any back office system and field employees through a PDA device.
A new Supply Chain Execution (SCE) solutions portfolio is available from Manhattan Associates. The newly organised SCE solutions are grouped into three primary application suites – Trading Partner Management (TPM), Transportation Management Systems (TPS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Each suite contains several applications that can be delivered to meet individual customers’ needs as separate, stand-alone solutions or as fully integrated suites. The value of the applications suites can be extended via two extra offerings – Execution Dashboard and a suite of Performance Management applications.
