Central heating radiators manufacturer Caradon Stelrad has awarded a contract to distributor Impact Toyota for the supply of materials handling equipment to its Mexborough site. Caradon has ordered 15 Toyota forklift vehicles as well as 12 powered pallet trucks for its production and new distribution facility, located near Doncaster.
The equipment will carry out a variety of jobs from loading steel coils to taking the finished radiator products out of the distribution centre for delivery to customers.
Bruce Lockton, Caradon’s logistics and administration director, comments: “The reliability, safety and overall quality of these Toyota trucks are second to none, making life easier for our drivers and keeping productivity levels high.”
