Hand Held Products (HHP) has launched its high-performance Dolphin 9500 and 9550 mobile computers for use mobile in-premise and in-transit data collection applications that require durability, ergonomics, sophisticated architecture, wireless communications and low cost-of-ownership.
The ultra-slim new computers are powered by the company’s fourth generation Adaptus Imaging Technology feature a computer, digital camera and “an industry-leading” triple-radio with integrated wireless WAN, LAN and PAN. They provide mobile workers with seamless connectivity and advanced features such as the state-of-the-art Intel X-Scale processor; the Microsoft Pocket PC operating platform; lithium-ion battery technology with extended life performance; and a colour display.
The mobile computers have a lightweight, ergonomic and rugged design to ensure ease of use and reliable performance. HHP says the units can carry out a wide variety of functions including decoding barcodes, capturing signatures, taking photos, communicating with vendors and despatchers. This, saysHHP, makes them ideal for use in field service, package delivery, route accounting, warehousing and manufacturing applications.
