Improved visibility, serviceability and greater operator comfort are features of Jungheinrich’s new EFX ac-powered man-down lateral stacker. Offered in capacities of 1,000kg and 1,250kg, the EFX features the most ergonomically advanced driver console, which is fully adjustable both in height and length to suit individual operator requirements.
The integrated control console also features an LCD graphics panel for at-a-glance information with regard to the truck’s current operating status, helping to further maximise performance and minimise operator error.
With lift heights up to 7m, the new EFX affords faster laden and travel speeds while the fitment of new three phase ac drives for control of travel, lifting and steering functions also contribute to faster work rates and greatly reduced maintenance and servicing requirements. The added fitment of a new Mosfet control system means operating parameters can be pre-set to suite specific operator or application needs, while regenerative lowering and braking permits extended working shifts per single battery charge.
CANBUS technology is another standard feature with the new EFX. Apart from dispensing with over 60% of the cabling normally fitted to conventional trucks, this technology affords simplified servicing and diagnosis of all electronic components. This feature also allows easy downloading of all data with regard to performance, work cycles.
The slim mast design of the new EFX also offers all-round visibility for drivers, whether picking up loads from either side or the front. This feature further contributes to workplace safety, while truck performance is further enhanced by the ability of operatives to carry out forward reach and rotating movements of the forks simultaneously. The unobstructed view of the load also allows the operator to read or scan pallet labels with ease.
Designed for rail or inductive guidance, or free-path when operating in narrow aisles, the EFX can be additionally supplied with both height and horizontal pre-selection systems to further maximise safety and throughout rates.
