Moorfield Group, the new owner of Heywood Distribution Park, and Westbrook Partners have announced further success at the park located in north Manchester.
The new marketing team and agents’, FPD Savills and King Sturge, are talking with several new enquiries, while a number of existing occupiers’ want to take advantage of the 74,320sq m of design and build opportunities rather than relocate to alternative sites to meet their expansion needs.
Fulfilment Logistics, the distribution arm of N Brown group company JD Williams, already occupies 11,705sq m of space and has recently increased its Northern distribution centre to 21,924sq m in response to growing product demand. Wayne Hellewell, general manager of Fulfilment Logistics, says: “We have been at Heywood since September 2002 and are very happy with the park’s facilities, especially its levels of security. The extra space we have acquired will help us to fulfil our strategic business growth.”
