Seven Kings Publications – owner and publisher of Logistics Manager, the leading management journal covering all facets of the supply chain – has further demonstrated its pro-active dedication to excellence by becoming the first publishing company to gain the prestigious ISO 9001/2000 Certificate of Registration.
This success follows Logistics Manager’s achievement in being the first dedicated logistics journal to be independently audited by the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC), the watchdog organisation that protects advertisers from exploitation through misleading claims from publishers over circulation figures.
As the ABC says: “No ABC, no guarantee.”
Following an assessment by ISOQAR, an International Standards Organisation accredited quality certification body, Seven Kings’ existing ISO 9002/98 Certificate gained in March 1999 has been upgraded to ISO 9001/2000.
The new ISO 9001/2000 Standard is designed to help organisations improve their business practices by requiring them to focus on the needs of their customers.
ISO registration, further testament of our commitment to ABC audits, and an ongoing policy to publish editorials that help logistics professionals to do their jobs much more effectively, should ensure that Logistics Manager continues to lead the field.
