Vocollect has increased the flexibility of Talkman, its voice-directed distribution system, by ensuring its hardware can talk to virtually any warehouse management system (WMS). The company’s new Voicelink 1.1 middleware means linking voice to an established warehouse operation is more straightforward, thus speeding up return on investment (ROI).
Many major WMS providers already include a direct interface to Talkman, but VoiceLink facilitates interaction between Talkman hardware and the WMS in applications where a direct link is not available.
Removing the need to alter an existing WMS reduces the development time and implementation costs of Talkman voice technology.
