Portsmouth-based distribution business Fraser Freight has specified Southfields’ Fleetloada curtainsided bodywork for its two DAF XF 95.430 Super Space Cab drawbar units. The drawbars are completing three trips a week between the UK and Germany and are the first roadtrains to join Fraser’s fleet, which comprises a mix of 15 rigid vehicles between 3.5 tonnes and 18 tonnes.
The bodywork are built to Southfields’ Openspan design which means there is no intermediate centre of side support pillars to obstruct loading access. Ratchet curtain tensioners feature at all four corners, allowing quick access from front or rear, and there is provision for TIR cord sealing when required. Ray Smith 1.5 tonne underslung hydraulic tail-lifts are equipped at the rear.
Fraser delivers a wide range of products throughout Europe, but specialises particularly in hi-tech express freight.
