Warehousing, distribution and logistics provider Carlton Forest Group has taken developer Goodman’s 125,000 sq ft warehouse in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
The North Nottinghamshire based company has taken the unit to assist with its current expansion programme. The company’s latest annual report noted that turnover had increased to £7.7 million in the 12 months to 31 August 2019, up £3 million.
Carlton Forest Group, which is based in Worksop, has posted a turnover of ÂŁ7.7m for the 12 months to 31 August 2019, up from ÂŁ4.7m.
The warehouse occupies a standalone position close to the Hellaby Industrial Estate, which is home to occupiers including TNT, Clipper Logistics, UPS and KP Snacks.
Having undergone a significant refurbishment, the unit has new docks, lighting, and office modernisation. It also boasts canteen space, and benefits from a prominent frontage to the A631 Rotherham Road.
