Lister Petter, international manufacturer and distributor of industrial engines and generator sets, has ordered a £300,000-plus enterprise resource planning (ERP) system from business software specialist CPiO which will manage its manufacturing and distribution business.
More than 100 users, managing 500-plus customers and £50M in product sales per annum, will have access to the Sage Line 500 system, enabling Lister Petter to improve efficiency and productivity, whilst streamlining its financial systems. Overall, the system will provide Lister Petter with better management information and will allow for the development of sophisticated business intelligence reporting.
The investment in the new ERP technology comes off the back of a significant international growth period for Lister Petter – both organic and through acquisition – and will provide the organisation with a single system to help manage its ongoing growth.
