Phones 4U has appointed David Downie as managing director to oversee the addition of 100 new stores, taking the chain’s retail presence to 453. Downie joins from Asda where he was retail director on the executive board and director of logistics. Following an initial induction period this month, Downie will take up his post at the end of the first quarter.
