Hyster has launched the latest model in its Fortens range of lift trucks. The H1.6-2.0FT Series is aimed at users requiring a smaller truck.
Each H1.6-2.0FT features a durable powertrain, controlled by Hyster’s Pacesetter Vehicle System Manager as well as an electronically-controlled DuraMatch transmission to boost performance while reducing operating costs.
The company has also added an adjustable Auto-Deceleration System (ADS) which can be programmed to slow the truck, with varying degrees of deceleration, when the accelerator pedal is released.
This, says Hyster, enables the forklift truck to be tailored to suit the needs of the driver.
It also means that less brake pedal usage is required, leading to a 60% increase in brake life.
