Global forklift truck manufacturer NACCO Materials Handling Group, is celebrating after production of its biggest lift truck the Reach Stacker, rose to 125. The Nijmegen-based plant specialises in producing big trucks and the Reach Stacker is certainly that. With a maximum weight capacity of 87,000 kg and a lift capacity of 46,000 kg, it is one of the largest lift trucks produced in the world.
NMHG builds lift trucks from 8 to 52 tonnes, under the Hyster brand. The ReachStacker, which is the largest produced at the Dutch plant, has a number of unique applications that means it is particularly suited to clients where reach is important. These include ports, railways and heavy industry where clients need to transport large pieces of machinery in and out of factory sites.
