Mammoet Ferry Transport (MFT) has extended its high specification box trailers to include a new striking white livery. The latest initiative is a step away from the familiar red curtain- sided trailers and is aimed at providing clients with a range of trailer types to fit particular requirements.
The increasing threat of theft and vandalism has forced transport companies to invest in tighter security and although its tilt and taut trailer curtains are strengthened with steel wire to prevent access by thieves, MFT believes that the new “Strong Box” trailers with a reinforced aluminium shell provides maximum security against forced opening or vandalism. In addition the box trailers are equipped with an advanced GPS based satellite tracking system that constantly conveys the vehicles location.
