Procter & Gamble is trialling in the London area GPRS in the cabs so that it knows exactly the trucks are. According to the Chris Poole, P&G’s outbound logistics director for western Europe, P&G knows exactly when a vehicle is 10-15mins away “so that we can get the staging right in anticipation of the truck coming in”.
