Dachser, one of Europe’s leading logistics providers, has opened a new terminal in Dartford. The warehouse next to the Dartford crossing is the fourth branch location in the UK and covers 5,000 sq m, serving the London and south east.
It is connected to Europe’s major business centres via daily national and international timed delivery services. Although the depot has been up and running since September, the company invited guests from around the industry to celebrate the inauguration of the Crossways Business Park.
In 2004 Dachser generated sales worth some 2.4bn euros. It employs some 12,450 staff and has 220 branch offices in 20 countries.
