JPI Warehousing has expanding into larger premises – with help from Atisreal’s Southampton office. Atisreal acted on behalf of Travis Perkins to secure the deal to JPI Warehousing, the warehousing and distribution firm based at Unit 6 on Barton Park Industrial Estate off Eastleigh’s Chickenhall Lane. JPI will be the new tenants of nearby Unit 5A, which has some 30,000 sq ft of space.
The additional unit has 60,000 sq ft of enclosed yard area plus office accommodation and ample parking. The move is due to a recent significant increase in turnover and JPI’s managing director John Ings says it should help his company to become even more profitable.
JPI has also rented Unit 5 from Travis Perkins currently under licence which will be made more permanent under the new lease as soon as the office has moved into the new premises. JPI at this moment in time operates approximately 110,000 sq ft of warehouse and 90,000 sq ft of enclosed yard space.
