Secureseal has launched a system to manage trailer assets and prevent the theft of goods in transit. It transmits trailer door seal information automatically before a vehicle passes a gatehouse, with status sent to a gatehouse PC or a PC via the web.
With data recorded automatically, operators can build up a picture of the use of their trailers, very efficiently, over time. It measures the time taken for trailers to go from depot to depot, which enhances the security of the trailer in transit and uses short-range radio signal to remove expensive communication costs between the trailer and the gatehouse.
