MEPC has let an industrial/warehouse unit at Marston Gate, South Marston Park in Swindon to Honda Connectors.
Honda Connectors is relocating to the 10,910 sq ft Unit B1 at Marston Gate after 11 years at Kembrey Park in Swindon, on a ten year lease with a break at year five and an initial rent of £65,460 per annum, following a rent free incentive period.
Jeremy Sutton of MEPC’s agent King Sturge says: “Marston Gate offers Honda Connectors a higher profile unit given its situation at the entrance to South Marston Park which is visible from the A361.”
Marston Gate boasts occupiers including Aldi, BOC and the Early Learning Centre. CBRE acted for Honda Connectors.
Earlier in the year, Honda bought the freehold of a 350,000-sq ft build-to-suit warehouse at South Marston Park in Swindon from ProLogis on land which ProLogis bought from MEPC. Knight Frank and King Sturge advised ProLogis in that deal.
