UPS, the $36Bn package delivery giant, has announced a new management structure in UK and Ireland. The new system is being adopted following the acquisition of Lynx Express in October this year.
The new management team merges the skill sets of two senior management teams from both UPS and Lynx Express. UK and Ireland district manager, Bill Caplan, has assumed overall responsibility of the combined UPS and Lynx Express operations after completion of the acquisition.
Caplan said: “The structure of UPS UK and Ireland will continue to evolve over the coming months as work by the UPS/Lynx Express integration team progresses and additional decisions that best leverage the joint capabilities of the combined companies are made.”
