Graeme McFaull has taken over as chief executive of Wincanton from Paul Bateman who has retired.
“I am extremely excited by this opportunity and I am looking forward to working with a team responsible for five years of sustained growth and profitability,” he said. McFaull joined Wincanton in 1994 and most recently held the position of managing director of UK and Ireland.
Prior to joining Wincanton, he held positions with Geest, Cargill and Pepsico. Bateman said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank all at Wincanton for making the last three years a truly outstanding period in the Company’s development.
