Oldham-based Lancashire Fork Truck Services has resigned its longstanding Still dealership and joined the UK-wide network of authorised dealers for Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks.
LFTS’s directors said: “Our decision to transfer has not been taken lightly. At LFTS we pride ourselves on our loyalty both to our customers and to our suppliers – in fact, our relationship with Still dates back more than 30 years. However, after careful analysis it was clear to us that our customers’ interests would be better served under the new arrangement.
“As well as providing a range of equipment that offers the performance and reliability that customers need, a prime concern for LFTS has been to reduce ongoing maintenance costs.”
LFTS point out that any existing customers can rest assured that any Still machines currently being serviced by the company would continue to enjoy a high standard of maintenance repair and parts supply.
