Pace Network has re-strengthened its board of directors, following the death of managing director Gary Dormer in September 2005.
Clive Tayler, who has been company secretary since the company’s foundation 18 years ago, has been appointed chairman and joint managing director with Colin Harrison. Tina Dormer, Mr Gary Dormer’s widow, joins the board and other directorships have been accepted by members of the Key Management Team who have been the driving force behind the company since the death of Mr Dormer in 2005.
Making the announcements from the company’s HQ near Heathrow Airport, Harrison, said: “The emphasis of each of the director’s daily activities will not change greatly from their previous tasks. We felt it prudent that each of the new positions be offered to demonstrate our long-term commitment to continuing growth of the business in line with our ambitious plans. The appointments also reward the key management team for the commitment they have shown to the company for many years.”
Other appointments include; Kevin Dormer who has become operations director, Andy Smith – development director, Malcolm Harding -forwarding director and Tom Doll – director of the Netherlands division.
Pace Network is a logistics specialist and includes; Pace International Services, Pace Transport, Pace CMS and Pace Visionair.
