CI Logistics has announced its acquisition of the assets of Kaybe (conveyors) Ltd.
In a statement, the international manufacturer of materials handling systems, said that Kaybe’s 24 years of industry experience, plus their comprehensive range of conveyors, will augment CI Logistics’ ever widening portfolio and see us expanding into a more diverse marketplace. The existing Kaybe products include a wide range of gravity and power conveyors together with a variety of vehicle loaders that will expand the existing CI Logistics telescopic boom loaders.
Gary Beale, managing director of CI Logistics added “This is a significant purchase for CI Logistics and will ensure that we retain our key position as a complete integrated service provider for distribution, manufacturing and all associated industries.” He also went on to say that: “Whilst the products of Kaybe are a great addition in themselves, the fact that the services of David Cockayne, the ex-managing director have been retained as a consultant to the new division, makes this an exceptional acquisition.”
