Atlet has completed its co-ordinated range of lift trucks designed for busy distribution warehouses, with the introduction of the new generation reach truck – the Forte.
The range comprises trucks developed specifically for the four primary functions of a distribution warehouse: unloading and loading; pallet transporting; stacking and de-stacking; and order-picking.
The new Forte, designed for pallet stacking, de-stacking and replenishment, is the latest generation of the UNS Tergo reach truck with enhanced performance, safety and ergonomics. The truck is also stronger and quieter, and its ATC on-board computer system has been further developed to aid diagnostics, allow a high degree of driver-customisation and provide a host of operational data. The Forte also has the TRAC system. The new truck is available with lift capacities of 1,400, 1,600 and 2,000 kg.
Other members of the range include the Piccolo, the Presto and the Tempo. The Piccolo is a lightweight, compact powered pallet truck designed for light-duty work on the loading bay and around the warehouse.
The Presto pallet transporter is designed for intensive heavy-duty work in, for example, 24/7 operations. The pedestrian/stand-on truck, with capacities up to 2,500kg, offers high performance combined with a patented system – Friction Force – to give superior traction and heightened stability. It features a unique tiller steer-arm which incorporates the Atlet Truck Computer giving PIN access and enabling the truck’s driving characteristics to be programmed. The Tempo low-level order picker series offers a wide choice and permutation of options. Two base versions are available, with the driver position fixed, for picking at first level, or rising for picking at second level.
