Freight Traders and Trade Extensions have announced an alliance that adds the power of the TE Scenario engine to the Freight Traders tendering services.
Garry Mansell, managing director of Freight Traders, said: “Ever since the success of our own Scenario Builder we have been looking at ways to improve the decision support we can bring to our clients. Trade Extensions offers the technology and expertise we require, and our alliance is an exciting development for both them and us.”
It is anticipated that the tool will first be deployed on collaborative tenders, where multiple shippers from the Freight Traders’ community bring their freight to the market place as a single tender. The TE Scenario engine will enable clients with complex tenders to run multiple scenarios more rapidly and with a greater number of customer driven constraints.
