Norbain SD has opened its new 4,645 sq m (50,000 sq ft) distribution centre at Ashton Moss in Lancashire, close to Junction 23 of the M60.
The facility increases Norbain’s stockholding capacity by over 100 per cent with the number of pallet locations increasing from 870 to 3,250.
The number of pick locations will be increasing from 4600 to 9,500 as a result of the move .
In addition, the company has the option to build a further 20,000 sq ft of warehousing on an adjacent site.
