Gladman Developments has launched the UK’s largest speculative industrial development known as Cosmic Park in Sherburn-in-Elmet, in Yorkshire. The £85 million scheme will host 148,640 sq m (1.6 million sq ft) of industrial and distribution warehouse space in four large distribution warehouses of 61,314 sq m (666,000 sq ft), 29,728 sq m (320,000 sq ft) and 17,186.5 sq m (185,000 sq ft) – which can be combined to make one unit of 51,095 sq m (550,000 sq ft) – and 13,656.3 sq m (147,000 sq ft), which are called respectively Jupiter, Saturn 1, Saturn 2 and Ganymede. The units will have 15m eaves and multiple dock levellers.
