Kent-based transport company UK Freight Masters, has switched its palletised distribution network from UK Pallets to Palletforce, one of the fastest-growing networks in the UK.
UK Freight Masters’ decision was prompted by Palletforce’s unique member-owned structure, which the company believes will ensure a consistently high standard of service for its customers.
Palletised distribution has been a major growth area in road haulage over the last decade, offering a cost-effective solution to the quick delivery of small palletised consignments.
Palletforce is one of the leading palletised distribution networks in the UK and mainland Europe. With over 85 strategically-located depots around the country and a 120,000 sq ft central hub in Lichfield Staffordshire, the Palletforce network offers significant efficiency savings. Each member depot delivers goods originating from its operational area to the central hub. They then collect goods for delivery to their home area for the return load – a streamlined process which offers a more competitive, cost effective service for both members and customers, while substantially reducing environmental impact.
UK Freight Masters has been recruited as a Shareholder Member Depot for the SE postcode.
David Bland, Director of UK Freight Masters, commented: “Some of our long established contacts within the industry commended Palletforce to us, and when we did our homework we recognised that it was a network with much to offer.
