Innovate Logistics is to open a training Centre of Excellence at the award-winning Space27, the new office, workspace and leisure complex adjacent to its headquarters at Sherwood Business Park, Nottingham.
The Centre is intended to provide continuing professional development for all Innovate staff in a variety of areas including warehouse management systems, IT software and health and safety, as well as providing the best first impressions for new employee inductions. The aim is to maintain an overall standard of excellence among Innovate employees, all conducted in a state of the art learning environment.
Space27 has been developed by Innovate Property, part of Innovate Holdings, the parent company of Innovate Logistics, to offer innovative modern workspace solutions. Specifically designed to accommodate the needs of clients and their staff, the 130,000 sq ft campus offers genuinely flexible buildings within a superbly landscaped setting. In addition to the office and amenity buildings, there are five multi-purpose units of 13,000 sq ft, which are adaptable to a wide range of business uses. These include commercial office space, light manufacturing, research and development, laboratories and training facilities, such as those designed for Innovate Logistics.
Situated at the heart of Sherwood Business Park, at junction 27 off the M1, Space27 is the only site in the East Midlands to be awarded a BREEAM Excellence Award for its environmental building credentials. It mirrors Innovate Logistics’ commitment to sustainable construction and efficient plant maintenance for which it is renowned.
