Rising Star, sponsored by Yusen Logistics
Winner: Hollie Bradshaw, Travis Perkins Group
This special award recognises someone who is increasingly setting the supply chain world alight with their work but might otherwise not be recognised in a setting like this.
This was opened up for nominations by colleagues and peers, and the organisers were absolutely flooded with entries, which is a testament to the work being done behind the scenes.
The award went to Hollie Bradshaw. She joined Travis Perkins as a transport analyst, running key performance indicators on the Group’s 3,000+ vehicles to highlight cost savings, fleet efficiencies and development opportunities.
Within 18 months she was promoted to solution design analyst, where she developed her skills in strategic transport modelling; understanding likely changes to transport operations and implementing operational changes into the business.
A year later Hollie was promoted again to solution design manager where she manages the strategic direction and improvement of the group’s national transport operations and manages a team of analysts to report KPIs back to the business.
She is also the group’s ambassador for Brake (the road safety charity) and works to promote road safety locally and develop initiatives within the business to make its fleet safer.
Using data from the group’s vehicle tracking system and working closely with the HR and business heads, she is championing a Safer Roads Initiative which the group are about to launch which will report and highlight instances of speeding down to vehicle level and the coaching required to improve the standards of drivers to ensure Travis Perkins is leading the way for road safety in the construction industry.
