Fashion retailer Next has agreed a lease on a 1.1m sq ft distribution complex at St Paul’s Developments and Tritax Assets 85-acre Brookfields Park in South Yorkshire. The deal will see two inter-related buildings of 707,000 sq ft and 407,000 sq ft being built on a 50-acre site with an eaves height of some 70ft. The larger building will boast 34 dock levellers with 6 level access doors and the smaller 20 dock levellers and two level access doors. The investment value has been put at £120m. Quoting rents at the park have been about £4.60 per sq ft. Next is set to occupy the buildings in mid-2007, with them becoming fully operational in 2008.
