Christian Salvesen has been appointed by Continental Tyres to provide warehousing and distribution throughout the United Kingdom. From July this year, Salvesen will manage the tyre storage, handling and distribution of Continental Tyre Group brands. The contract was put out to tender last year. Salvesen was successful in securing a five year contract which will be fully operational by 1 July. Salvesen will move Continental’s distribution from Rugby to the Tyrefort facility and will manage both contracts on a shared user basis.
