DTS Clipper, has won a short-term contract with retail brand George, to distribute the Back to School ranges in Asda stores, George High Street and Asda Living stores.
The contract which is based in Chepstow, is the fourth short-term operation DTS has carried out for George, as approved contractors. The 170,000 sq ft distribution centre has over 55,000 linear feet of fully adjustable hanging garment racking, which is serviced by an overhead rail and trolley system, allowing for the storage and efficient picking of garments.
Martin Clay, head of distribution at George said: “DTS Clipper have consistently offered us an added value, efficient service and therefore we know we can call on them for assistance during our peak times of the year.”
DTS Clipper is part of the Clipper Group which has a network of 22 distribution centres throughout the UK, a 600 strong fleet with a workforce of 2000.
