Norbert Dentressangle Logistics (UK) has secured a five-year renewal to manage Ikea’s Doncaster distribution centre.
Ikea has developed the site with a second phase development of a further 73,920 sq m complete with a fully automated 35m high-bay extension. An extension, officially opened on schedule in February 2006, has increased the distribution centre area to 135,300 sq m providing over 313,000 pallet locations. The Doncaster distribution centre is now the largest Ikea distribution centre worldwide.
