Ascroft Transport has taken delivery of two FH-520 Tractor Units specified with a range of home comforts any driver would appreciate. Both the Globetrotter XL cabs have the added extras of a heated leather seat and armrests, a 25-litre fridge, microwave and coffee maker.
Managing director, Phil Ascroft said: “Our trucks carry plant all over England which means drivers are away from home Monday to Friday. Having a host of additional features means that drivers have added luxuries when they are on the road.”
The Preston-based company runs a total of eight trucks carrying plant equipment and piling rigs.
