DTS Logistics, now a part of Clipper Logistics Group, has opened a new hanging garment warehouse in Ollerton, Nottinghamshire.
The new 350,000 sq ft DC will provide Woolworths with the space to fulfil its current expansion plans and house the high street retailer’s children’s fashion range while sharing space with a number of DTS’s other contracts.
Tim Owrid, director of supply chain for Woolworths, said: “We chose DTS Logistics because of their flexible approach to the whole logistics, supply chain and pre-retail process and we knew they would be best placed to support us in our business expansion.”Shropshire-based Pendragon Haulage has added an Iveco Stralis Executive Space to its fleet of 16 commercial vehicles. Pendragon selected the truck for “its striking appearance which makes it suitable for mobile exhibition work.”
The new Stralis ES440S54TX/P is based on the Active Space (AS) cab and benefits from a high-specification interior and eye-catching exterior, earning the position of flagship of the Iveco range and of the Pendragon fleet. Powered by Iveco’s Cursor 13 engine rated at 540 hp, the Stralis ES is expected to cover approximately 100,000 km a year and joins a fleet which has traditionally been solely Volvo, but which now includes a Stralis Active Time 6×2 tractor and a 12 tonne Eurocargo, together with three Daily vans.
