A joint venture between Arlington and Barwood developments is banking on a cross docked facility in Wingates, Bolton to secure a tenant within months thanks to the shortage of space in the region.
The developers are building Big Sam speculatively and have opted for a 270,000 sq ft cross docked facility with 8 dock levellers and 4 level access doors on each side.
The building boasts 14m eaves and a 40m yard on one side and a 50m one on the other. David Rowley, of letting agent Savills said: “There is a high level of demand from retailers and distribution occupiers alike who require good product in a prime location with cross-dock facilities.”
