Following the Buncefield explosion in December last year, brewer Scottish & Newcastle has moved from its damaged warehouse on the Maylands Estate and taken space at G.Park Hemel Hempstead.
The 13,935 sq m (150,000 sq ft) facility forms part of a 23,597 sq m (254,000 sq ft) speculatively-built unit. The building has been taken by Scottish & Newcastle at a rent of £96.87 per sq m (£9 per sq ft) for a term of 3 years. Scottish & Newcastle is currently fitting out the unit while Gazeley carries out repairs to damaged cladding on the exterior of the building.
G.Park Hemel Hempstead is a 8.1ha (20-acre) site strategically located at Maylands Avenue close to Junction 8 of the M1.
