Rexam, a manufacturer of drinks cans has extended its £4m contract with TM Logistics until December 2008.
The new contract sees TML managing a round-the-clock logistics operation at its operating centres in Wakefield and Tongwell, Milton Keynes with warehousing, distribution, planning and transport.
TML manages all Rexam Beverage Can’s packaging storage movements nationwide with a dedicated fleet.
Rexam Beverage Can’s European logistics director Hugh Gallacher emphasised the importance of today’s consolidating marketplace and the need for closer working relationships with its customers and suppliers alike. “We are confident in TM Logistics’ ability to deliver the service levels that our customers demand. They have proved they can successfully adapt to our changing requirements and TML is an important partner in our business demands.”
TM Logistics employs over 350 staff and operates a fleet of over 200 vehicles.
