Carrier Transcold has launched two new products, the Neos 100 and Viento. The Neos 100 is an electrically driven, self-contained “plug and play” unit for small vehicle refrigeration. The refrigeration circuit is completely closed at the time of installation, meaning that no specialised technician is required, with no brazing or threading.
The Viento is a new range of refrigeration units for road operation only. Carrier Transcold says that it benefits from being extra flat and lightweight, using micro-channel technology. Carrier Transcold says that Viento offers a choice of non-ozone-depleting refrigerants – R134a for chilled applications and R404a for frozen – while requiring up to 50 per cent less refrigerant charge.
