EWS has a new track access contract with Network Rail, providing access to the rail network until the end of 2015. Keith Heller, EWS chief executive said: “This long-term contract is a milestone in achieving significant growth in freight by rail. Extensive work by teams at Network Rail, the Office of Rail Regulation and EWS, have produced an agreement that will give confidence to customers, investors and other stakeholders.”
