Scottish haulier Pollock (Scotrans) has added two new Renault Magnums to its fleet. The new 6×2 Renault Magnum 480s are the first to run in Scotland and have Pollock’s distinctive turquoise and red livery. In keeping with company tradition, they have been given individual clan tartans, named Auld Alliance and Fleur de Ecosse.
Scott Pollock, operations director said: “We wanted to reflect the Scottish-French alliance when naming the trucks. We bought our very first Renaults in 1979 and so the Auld Alliance has been named to reflect this long relationship; similarly the Fleur de Ecosse gives a French twist to the well known Flower of Scotland clan.”
