St Modwen is seeking planning consent for a 139,350 sq m (1.5 million sq ft) scheme on a 40.47ha (100 acre) plot within the 242.81ha (600 acres) it acquired from Corus in 2004 for £17.5m at Llanarwen, Newport, South Wales. The scheme is part of the 404.69ha (1,000-acre) masterplan for the Eastern Area of Newport.
