Developer JF Finnegan has been selected as preferred developer by RDA Yorkshire Forward for the 6.72ha (16.6 acre) Beighton colliery site, near Sheffield, which has planning consent for 10,683.5 sq m (115,000 sq ft) of industrial and distribution space. The developer is expected to pay in the region of £568,330 per ha (£230,0000 an acre). Crossland Otter Hunt advised JF Finnegan.
