Werner White has been appointed managing director of the newly formed Kuehne & Nagel division, KN Drinks Logistics.
KN Drinks Logistics specialises in the distribution of beverages and offers customers a compelling value proposition based on a combination of experienced customer focused teams and an extensive, well invested network. It provides an exciting platform for growth, which is already attracting a lot of outside interest.
White has 24 years experience in the logistics industry, in both the retail and manufacturing sectors. He trained with the National Freight Company (NFC), working for both National Carriers and British Road Services for ten years. After working for Tibbett and Britten as managing director of its UK consumer logistics business, he transferred to North America, in the role of vice-president, responsible for a range of retail customers in Canada and the USA.
On returning to the UK White joined Hays as managing director of its technology and automotive logistics businesses. He has recently worked for private businesses in both temperature controlled distribution and air/seafreight.
