TDG has taken 22,110 sq m (238,000 sq ft) at the former Cummins Factory in Shotts, North Lanarkshire, in one of the biggest lettings in the region for five years.
It has signed up for an initial two-year lease on Units 4 and 5 on the site, now rebranded as Centrelink 5 by the new owners.
Douglas Patrick of King Sturge said: “TDG is one of the few logistics companies expanding its operations in Scotland. The availability, quality and location of the building were the key drivers in this transaction – the building is only two minutes from junction 5 of the M8.”
Only two years ago TDG completed another large industrial deal when they agreed a 10-year lease on the 11,634.8 sq m (125,240 sq ft) former Scottish Power Building at Eurocentral.
Joint letting agents for the remaining 13,935 sq m (150,000 sq ft) are King Sturge and Donaldsons.
