ANC Logistics has won a three year contract worth £15m with electrical distributor Hagemeyer UK. The contract is the biggest ANCL has ever handled.
ANCL will provide in-night, next day and same day distribution services for Newey and Eyre, the main trading division of Hagemeyer UK.
ANC Logistics has also taken on over 140 staff who were either employed by Hagemeyer or the previous distribution provider. ANCL says that it has restructured and streamlined the transport infrastructure which has also enabled Hagemeyer to complete a wider rationalisation of its distribution model. As a result of through the night deliveries stock is now immediately available for the Newey and Eyre branches which provides clear customer service benefits.
