Belgravium has launched the WS-100, a rugged wireless bar code laser scanner, designed to suit heavy duty industrial, logistics and retail applications.
The WS-100 system includes a handheld standard or long range scanner, which includes an integrated radio and battery, with a base station that interfaces directly with the host computer or fixed terminal.
Some of the key features include; a flexible operation allowing up to 50 WS-100 units to operate simultaneously on the same radio channel and on the same geographical location without creating any interference. Belgravium says that the unit supports a wide range of interfaces and can be connected to more than 800 different data terminals.
A cold store version, operating at -30 degrees Celsius, is also available.
